The new information infrastructure in the field of the Earth sciences is based on utilization of the data for the Registry of Information on the Results of Scientific and Research Work (abbreviated RIV in Czech) and other publication activities of geo-scientific organizations. Interconnection of the earlier separate databases offers the user a uniform interface for retrieving information. The National Geoscience Bibliography is based on the project of science and research that was supported by the Ministry of Environment.
